Matt Kuchar, Scott Langley and William McGirt each fired 5-under 66s to take a share of the 18-hole lead in the RBC Heritage. The $5.8 million PGA Tour event began on a chilly, blustery Thursday at the Pete Dye-designed Harbour Town Golf Links in Hilton Head, S.C.

Eagle Point Golf Club to Host 2017 Wells Fargo Championship

Billy Anderson, PGA director of golf at Eagle Point Golf Club in Wilmington, N.C., since the day it opened in 2000, says it was the reputation of his club - as well as the desire of its membership to shine a spotlight on Wilmington and eastern North Carolina - that were the deciding factors in the PGA Tour tapping the course as a one-year replacement venue for the 2017 Wells Fargo Championship.
